About
Meg Kiddle is a singer for hire in Zillmere, QLD.
Classical and contemporary training, a theatre background, and years in cover bands. Meg Kiddle sings solo around Brisbane with keyboard and backing tracks, moving through 60s and 70s, 80s and 90s, pop, rock and opera depending on what the booking calls for. Her voice is warm enough to sit under a dinner service and strong enough to be the main event when you want it to be. Morning melodies, parties, weddings and funerals all sit inside her range. Bookings run from one to three hours. She needs an hour to set up the PA and keyboard, and about 40 minutes to pack down afterwards.
Watch
The show
Meg sings with keyboard and backing tracks, and the volume follows the brief. She can sit warmly underneath a dinner service, or step up and be the thing everyone's watching. A background in theatre and years in cover bands means she can put together a set list that fits the specific booking rather than reaching for a default one. Bookings run anywhere from one hour to three.
On the day
Build an hour into your schedule before Meg starts. That's what the PA and keyboard need to get up and sounding right. At the other end, allow around 40 minutes for pack down. Worth knowing if your venue has a hard finish time or you're sharing the room with another supplier later that night.
