About
Marc Bheirne is a singer for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Rock unplugged is how Marc Bheirne puts it, and that's a fair description. He takes rock songs from the 80s through to current releases and plays them on acoustic, so the material is loud music delivered at a volume people can talk over. Think U2, INXS, Coldplay, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Powderfinger and Foo Fighters, with plenty more where those came from. It suits a Brisbane bar or a function where you want something recognisable running in the background without a full band taking over the room. He brings all his own gear.

The show
The volume sits where people can still hear each other. Marc plays rock material on acoustic guitar, so the songs are ones the room recognises without the wall of noise that usually comes attached to them. It works as something to settle into rather than something to stand and watch. Guests talk, the music runs underneath, and every so often a chorus lands and somebody sings along.
