About
Kirk Whyte Entertainment is a singer for hire in Mandurah, WA.
Kirk Whyte plays more than twenty pubs around Mandurah on a regular basis, and he's done over 200 wedding and birthday shows on top of that. The set runs from 60s classics to current hits, taking in Aussie rock, classic rock and pop along the way. He brings all his own gear including lights, so the show looks like something as well as sounding like it. One man, a guitar and a voice, working a room the way someone does when they've played that many rooms.
The show
Kirk treats a show as something to watch as well as hear, which is where the lighting rig earns its place. More than twenty Mandurah pubs have him back on a regular basis, and he has more than 200 weddings and birthdays behind him, so the reading of a room comes from a lot of rooms. The stated aim is a night people still talk about afterwards, and the track record suggests he gets there more often than not.
