About

Kayla Rose is a singer for hire in Ipswich, QLD.

Country pop rock, delivered solo, across South East Queensland. Kayla Rose plays venues, weddings, community events and private functions, and the repertoire is deliberately wide: Shania Twain and Lady A sitting next to Bruno Mars, Queen and Taylor Swift, plus originals of her own. She came up in a musical family and started performing with the family band early, which is where the stage presence comes from. Her people are the Greaves family of Auckland, New Zealand, and she is granddaughter to Rusty Greaves. Good for a relaxed afternoon session or a loud pub night, and she also takes morning melodies and funeral work. Needs power and about five square metres of covered space.

The show

A solo singer with a country pop rock centre and a very wide reach either side of it. Kayla Rose moves from fifties standards through to whatever is currently on radio, with her own originals in the mix, and she came up performing in a family band which is where the ease on stage comes from. Her voice sits in the same territory as Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris. She's got a studio EP out. And she brings the full PA rig herself, so a venue with nothing but a power point is fine.

On the day

Kayla Rose needs a power point she can reach, roughly five square metres to set up in, and cover over that area. Undercover is not negotiable, since the PA and gear can't sit out in the weather. Beyond that there's nothing for you to hire or organise.
