About
Josh Needham is a singer for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Touring musician, musical director, guitarist and singer, and Josh Needham has done all of it full time for years at events across Australia. It's a career he says he wouldn't swap for anything, and that shows up in how easy the day is to run. Solo, duo or full band, and DJ sets when the night calls for one. Sets run through the event or wherever they're needed, with backing music between them and a PA provided in most cases. The song catalogue is deep, and if there's a particular track you want, it usually gets worked in, sometimes learned specially. Weddings get a two hour lead-in on arrival, corporate events about ninety minutes. Brisbane based, and insured.

The show
Josh Needham does this full time, and it shows in how little you have to think about on the day. He's well presented, and the music runs from the start of your event through to the end, in sets placed wherever they make sense. Between those sets he'll organise backing music so the room never falls silent. In most cases a PA comes with him too.
On the day
He'd rather be early than cutting it fine. For a wedding that means arriving about two hours before things start, which leaves room for setup, a sound check and any last minute changes. Corporate events are usually about ninety minutes ahead, though it shifts depending on whether there's a house PA and how easy the parking and load-in are.
Performance options
The format bends to the length of the event. A short two hour function sits at one end, a full day wedding at the other, and plenty in between. Solo, duo or full band, with DJ sets when the night wants one. The song catalogue is deep, and if there's a track you want that isn't in it, Josh will usually learn it for the day.
