About
Josh Goddard is a singer for hire in Deans Marsh, VIC.
Josh Goddard plays acoustic guitar and sings, and the setlist bends to whoever is in the room that night. Covers, originals and requests, with plenty of Australian music in there, running from quiet background playing through to uptempo numbers that get people moving. Bookings come as a solo, a duo with bass, or a trio with cello and second guitar. Gear is sorted, so power is the only thing required. Based at Deans Marsh in the Otways, within reach of Geelong and the Surf Coast.
Watch
The show
Josh Goddard plays acoustic guitar and sings, and the night takes its shape from whoever turns up. Covers, originals and requests, with a good amount of Australian music in the mix. Quiet enough to sit under conversation early on, then uptempo when the room's ready for it. He's not working off a fixed list. He watches what the crowd responds to and follows it.
On the day
Josh brings his own gear, all of it, whether he's playing solo, as a duo with bass, or as the trio with cello and second guitar. The only thing he needs from your end is access to a power point somewhere near where he'll be playing.
Performance options
Three line-ups. Solo acoustic, just guitar and vocals. A duo, adding bass. Or a trio with cello and a second guitar, which gives the quieter songs a lot more depth. Same player, three different sized sounds.
