About
Jeffrey James Black is a singer for hire in Sandover, NT.
Acoustic versions of songs from the 60s onward, plus originals when the room wants them. The set moves through I'm On Fire, Good Riddance, Stray Cat Strut, Valerie, The Scientist, Drops of Jupiter, Ho Hey, Big Jet Plane and Romeo and Juliet, with Beatles, Beach Boys, Otis Redding and Neil Young further in. Jeffrey James Black is happy either way on positioning: tucked somewhere discreet playing soft background music for a cafe crowd, or front and centre when the night needs lifting. All equipment is provided, and set up and pack down are part of the fee. Based in Sandover. Holds a working with children check and national police clearance.
The show
A gigging musician who does this for a living, which mostly shows up as a lack of fuss. You get a fair quote up front and a proper show on the night. Every bit of gear needed comes with him, and both the set up before and the pack down after are already covered by what you agree to pay. Nothing to chase, nothing extra to organise.
