About
Jason Carruthers Entertainment is a singer for hire in Maitland, NSW.
Country, rock and roll, and 80s hits, played by whichever line-up suits your night. Jason Carruthers works out of Maitland as a solo act, a duo or a full band, and there's DJ and karaoke gear in the van as well, so the music doesn't have to stop when the live set does. It's built for mixed crowds. A room with grandparents, parents and twenty-somethings in it all gets something they recognise, which is harder to pull off than it sounds. Weddings, parties and pub gigs across the Hunter.
Watch
The show
Any crowd, any age bracket in the room, and Jason will find the material for it. The night can sit anywhere between a DJ set and a full show, which is the point of booking him rather than one fixed format. A room holding grandparents, parents and people in their twenties all at once is the harder version of the job, and that mix is exactly what this is built for. You say what the crowd looks like, he shapes the night around it.
