About
Jarryd Buckley is a singer for hire in Sydney, NSW.
A Sydney acoustic act with a setlist reaching back eight decades, so there's something for the grandparents and something for the twenty-somethings without the night feeling like a compromise. Requests get learnt for the day if you ask early enough. The PA runs on battery, which sounds like a small detail until you're planning a ceremony in a paddock or a set on a balcony with one power point already claimed by the caterers. Then it's the whole difference. Reliable, straightforward, and focused on getting the atmosphere right rather than making the gig about the guitar.
On the day
His own PA comes with him, and it will run on battery. That means no hunting for a power point and no extension leads snaking across a lawn, which is why a ceremony in a paddock, a set on a rooftop or a spot down the far end of a garden are all perfectly ordinary bookings rather than problems to solve. Somewhere to stand and a rough idea of where you want the sound pointed is genuinely all he asks for.
