About

Hannah is a singer for hire in Brisbane, QLD.

Hannah writes her own songs as well as singing everyone else's. The Brisbane artist plays mellow acoustic pop with a country lean, performing on a Gibson acoustic through her own PA, and her sets mix originals with Keith Urban, Missy Higgins, Snow Patrol and The Beatles. Ballads are her home ground. For weddings she offers something rare: she'll write a custom love song for the couple, and she can perform it live on the day. Hosts describe her as lovely to work with, and one noted that guests loved both the performance and her song choices.

The show

Hannah sings acoustic pop with a country lean, and the ballads are where she's most at home. Sets pull from her own writing as well as songs the room already knows, with Keith Urban, Missy Higgins, Snow Patrol and The Beatles all in the mix. It's a Gibson acoustic and a voice, nothing more complicated than that, which is why it works as easily in a small room as on a proper stage. Expect songs that carry a story rather than filler between courses.

On the day

Power for the PA is the main thing Hannah needs from you. If she's playing outdoors, a marquee or some other cover has to be there in case the weather turns, because neither the sound gear nor the guitar can get wet.

Performance options

For couples there's a wedding songwriting option: Hannah writes an original love song for the two of you, and you get a demo of it plus three rounds of changes if you want the words tweaked. She can also perform that song live on the day, paired with a short set. Set length is up for discussion.
