About
Haleigh Hing is a singer for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Rich, soulful vocals over some detailed guitar work. That's the short version of Haleigh Hing, a solo acoustic player on the Sunshine Coast whose sets swing between moody, vulnerable storytelling and something a lot more energetic. He's built a solid regional following, with regular spots at venues like Solbar in Maroochydore, plus corporate events, private functions and weddings. The songs run from the 60s through to the 2000s, mixed with his own original material. He needs power and enough space for a PA, and that's about it.

The show
Haleigh Hing works through the songs most people can hum along to, pulling from the 60s right up to the 2000s, and then drops his own material in among them. It's one voice and one guitar, so the sound sits where you want it: quiet enough to talk over early, then heavier on the strumming once the night picks up. You'll recognise most of what he plays. The originals tend to be the ones people ask about afterwards.
On the day
Two things and he's set. A power point he can reach, and floor space for the PA to sit. There's no truck to unload and no stage to build, so the whole business of getting ready is over quickly and quietly. If you're putting him outdoors, just make sure there's a lead that reaches.
