About
Grace Harris is a singer for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Folk pop, done full time. Grace Harris has spent three years playing venues across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast, and she uses looping to build out a bigger sound than one person and a guitar would suggest. Missy Higgins, The Cranberries and Amy Winehouse are the clearest influences, and you'll hear that in a set that moves from Back To Black and Valerie through Big Jet Plane, To Her Door, Jolene and Tennessee Whiskey. She'll shape the list around the crowd in front of her. Comes with her own PA and gear.
Watch
The show
Grace Harris watches the room and plays to it. She will build a set around who is actually in front of her on the night, whether that is a Brisbane pub crowd wanting Valerie and Jolene or a quieter function where Missy Higgins and folk pop suit better. Tell her the sort of event and the sort of guests and the list gets shaped to match. The looping means one person and a guitar cover a lot more ground than you would think.
