About
Gilly / Geoff Booker Music is a singer for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Hundreds of songs sit in Geoff Booker's head, and the useful part is knowing which ones the room wants. A cafe at four in the afternoon gets something chilled. A party at ten gets the opposite. The catalogue runs 60s and 70s through 80s and 90s pop and classic rock, with staples like Bad Moon Rising, Beds Are Burning, Billie Jean and April Sun In Cuba, and requests are welcome. The PA is a slim stick system that tucks into a corner. With a mic stand out front it needs about two metres square and a power point, so tight Adelaide venues are no problem. Bigger rooms get bigger gear.

The show
Geoff Booker is punctual, easy to deal with and low maintenance, which sounds ordinary until you've booked someone who isn't. Hundreds of songs sit in his head and the skill is picking the right ones. A cafe at four in the afternoon gets something chilled. A party at ten gets the opposite. The catalogue runs from the 60s and 70s through 80s and 90s pop and classic rock, with Bad Moon Rising, Beds Are Burning, Billie Jean and April Sun In Cuba among the staples, and requests are welcome.
On the day
Geoff's PA is a slim stick system that tucks into a corner or sits against a wall. With him and a mic stand in front of it, the whole footprint comes to roughly two metres by two, which is why tiny cafes work. A power point is the only other thing needed. Larger rooms get bigger gear instead.
