About
Emily Hanks is a singer for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Someone once described Emily Hanks' voice as honey coated velvet, and it fits. The sound is earthy and a bit gritty, pulling from soul, funk, blues, jazz and pop. She has supported Coolio, Paulini, Stan Walker, Ms Murphy, Something With Numbers and Nick Oliveri of Queens of the Stone Age. Corporate work has taken her to Google, Facebook, Macquarie Bank, AMP, Shell and IBM, where she also put together and led a pop-up choir, plus Telstra's Business Women's Awards and a Sephora store opening. Sydney based, working solo or with a band.
