About
Darius live is a singer for hire in Ringwood, VIC.
Darius Heath sings and writes, and works mainly as a cover artist across acoustic and vocal sets. Romantic, quiet material is the strength, which is why the bookings often lean towards picnics, proposals and weddings. But the same setup handles a birthday, an end of year function or a pub gig without much fuss. The song range runs through 80s and 90s pop, country, folk, oldies and easy listening. Setup is simple: a power point within five metres of where the playing happens. Based in Ringwood.
The show
Darius works mainly as a cover artist, and the strength is the quiet end of it. Romantic material, sung well, at a volume that lets people talk. That's why so many of the bookings are picnics, proposals and weddings, where the music has a job to do without taking over the room. But the same setup handles a birthday or an end of year function without any fuss. Songs come from 80s and 90s pop, country, folk, oldies and easy listening, and get chosen for the event rather than run off a fixed list.
On the day
One thing: a power point within about five metres of where he'll be playing. That's the entire requirement, so a lounge room, a park shelter or a small function space all work as long as there's an outlet in reach. If the spot you have in mind is further from power than that, mention it when you enquire so it can be sorted rather than discovered on the day. Everything else comes with him from Ringwood.
