About
Daniel James is a singer for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Trained tenor, guitar and ukulele, and a repertoire that runs from the 50s to now. Daniel James sings Elvis, John Denver and musical theatre, and does full Elvis performances in character and costume when that's what the event calls for. Can't Help Falling In Love, Fly Me To The Moon, Country Roads, Hallelujah, Amazing Grace and a long list beside them. He's a registered marriage celebrant as well, so a wedding can have the same person officiating and singing, and he covers funerals too. Santa and Easter Bunny appearances are on the list. Theatre, TV and film work behind him. He carries a portable battery powered PA, which means outdoor ceremonies with no power are no trouble. Melbourne based.

The show
Two jobs in one person, which solves a real problem for a lot of couples. Daniel is a trained tenor who sings with guitar and ukulele across everything from the 50s to now, and he's also a registered marriage celebrant. So the same person can conduct your ceremony and then sing at it. He does funerals as well, and full Elvis performances in character and costume when the occasion suits. Theatre, television and film work sits behind the voice.
On the day
His PA is portable and runs on battery, which solves the problem that catches a lot of outdoor ceremonies. No power at the site is genuinely fine. He brings guitar and ukulele with him, so nothing needs hiring in, and the same rig covers the singing and any spoken parts of a ceremony or a funeral service.
Performance options
Live music for weddings and for funerals, celebrant services on their own, or the two together. Elvis themed weddings and funerals are also on the list, done in costume and in character.
