About
Dan Wade Music is a singer for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Familiar songs, good energy, and a room that stays put for one more drink. Dan Wade plays solo acoustic around Brisbane, mixing well-known covers with reworked pop tunes and the odd classic given a twist. Some of it is loud and sung back at him. Some of it is chilled right down. He picks depending on whether it's a cruisy Sunday afternoon or a full Saturday night, and the point of the whole thing is getting the room involved rather than playing at it. Pubs, venues and weddings. He needs a power outlet, nothing else.

The show
Solo acoustic, played loose rather than to a script. Dan Wade works through covers people already know, some of them big enough to be sung back at him, others pulled right down to something you can talk over. He watches which way the room is going and picks accordingly, so a slow Sunday and a full Saturday get different treatment. The aim is a crowd that settles in, orders another round and joins in, instead of sitting politely through a performance happening at them.
