About
Chris Connelly is a singer for hire in Shailer Park, QLD.
Chris Connelly is a Brisbane multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar across most styles and sings across most of them too. The useful part is how the act scales. Solo for a ceremony or a quiet dinner, plus a drummer, plus a female vocalist, a trio, or a full party band when the floor needs filling. He brings the PA and lighting, so the production side is handled. Based at Shailer Park and covering weddings and private functions. Public liability insurance is in place.
Performance options
The act is built up in layers. Chris Connelly on his own is the starting point, suited to a ceremony or a room where the music sits underneath the talking. Add a drummer and it becomes a duo with a pulse to it. Swap that drummer for a female vocalist and the harmonies open up instead, or bring in a bassist for a fuller bottom end. Three players make a trio party band, and four is the full party band for a night that is meant to end on a busy dance floor. Which one suits depends on the room and how many people you are expecting, so say both when you enquire.
