About
Ben Whiting is a singer for hire in Byron Bay, NSW.
Contemporary indie folk with a rock edge that was sharpened playing on the streets of Melbourne. Ben Whiting writes about life and love with a bit of nostalgia in it, and the songs carry both beauty and darkness without losing their optimism. War on Drugs and Angus & Julia Stone are among the touchstones. The voice and the guitar playing are what hold it together. Now based in Byron Bay.
