About
Beatles to Buble is a singer for hire in Perth, WA.
Chris covers sixty odd years of crooners and classics, Sinatra and Nat King Cole through The Beatles and Elvis to Michael Buble, using guitar and backing tracks to pull a full band sound out of one performer. He works the room hard, and audiences tend to be singing along before they've decided to. His recent run of gigs says plenty about his range: a 60th birthday, a corporate show, the opening of a country museum, and a kids' party that had him dressed as a cat. Reviewers describe the show as a concert experience, with the songs sounding just the way they remember them.
The show
Chris works a room hard and the singing along tends to start before anybody decides to join in. Guitar and backing tracks between them fill out to something close to a full band, so one performer covers sixty odd years of material without it thinning out. The songs land the way people remember them, which is most of the appeal. And the music is only the starting point. He reads what the crowd wants and moves with it.
