About
Anthony Allen is a singer for hire in Eltham, VIC.
Anthony Allen spent years in bands and duos before going solo, and the show still sounds big: guitar, bass and keys over backing tracks he's mostly produced himself, run through a quality sound rig with a proper light show. His songbook is built for singing along. Paul Kelly's To Her Door, Sweet Caroline, Mustang Sally, Copperhead Road, Funky Town and a run of ACDC all get an airing. Fun is the whole point for him, and he's done enough pubs, clubs, parties and corporate functions to know how to get a room moving. Any performance area suits him.

The show
One person on stage, but the sound of a full band coming off it. Anthony plays guitar, bass and keyboards over backing tracks, a good number of which he produced and arranged himself, and it runs through a Bose system with proper lighting behind it. Years in bands, duos and venue work sit underneath all that. Expect a fair bit of talking to the room too, because getting people involved is half of how he works. His stated motto is simply fun, and pubs, clubs, private parties and corporate nights all get the same intent: a room that's lively from the first song to the last.
