About
Anika Louise is a singer for hire in Perth, WA.
Anika Louise is a Perth singer, songwriter and acoustic guitarist working in country-pop and indie folk. Her songwriting has been recognised through the Fairbridge Festival Songwriting Quest and WAM nominations. She has performed at local events and celebrations, including an opening appearance for the Perth Symphony Orchestra, alongside weddings and private functions.
The show
Anika brings every piece of gear she needs: two battery powered speakers, microphone, stand and lead, guitar, guitar stand and lead. Nothing on that list is your problem. The two battery speakers are the useful part, because they mean she can play on a beach, on a back lawn or in a garden with no power anywhere nearby, and the sound is the same as it would be in a function room. Soft vocals over acoustic guitar, pitched to sit inside the conversation.
On the day
One request, and it's a fair one: shade or cover if the day turns hot, and shelter if it rains. Her gear can't sit out in direct sun or get wet. A marquee corner, a verandah, a tree with decent shade, any of those work. Worth deciding where that spot is before the day rather than during it.
