About
Andy Ellem is a singer for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
More than 1,000 gigs around south-east Queensland, close to a decade of them as a full-time professional. Andy Ellem is a Brisbane acoustic singer and looping artist whose set list stretches from Fleetwood Mac and Tracy Chapman to MGMT, Gorillaz and Drake, a wider spread than most soloists attempt. And when the night needs a lift, he can switch to a genuine DJ set, actually mixing songs rather than pressing play. Powered and unpowered setups are available, gear is tested and tagged, and he's insured. Events run up to four hours; weddings can be covered from ceremony to reception.
Watch
The show
A full time working musician with close to a decade of it behind him, which means the gig gets treated as a job rather than a hobby night out. The response he's after is your guests asking where you found him.
On the day
Both powered and unpowered setups are available, so a spot with no power point nearby does not rule out live music. Worth mentioning when you enquire which one your venue needs, because it changes what he packs.
Performance options
Events are covered for up to four hours. For weddings you can book the ceremony, the reception, or the whole day. Ask and he'll send through a full information pack.
