About
Amy Jay Entertainment is a singer for hire in Coonabarabran, NSW.
Pub rock anthems one minute, country favourites the next, then a pop hit the whole room ends up singing. Amy Jay Entertainment mixes old-school classics with current hits and shapes every set to the crowd in front of it. Based in Coonabarabran, Amy Jay plays pubs, clubs, private parties and community events, and also hosts karaoke and open mic nights. Solo shows run as one 60-minute set or two or three 45-minute sets, with all PA and sound gear supplied and requests taken where possible. It's a relaxed, professional show built around getting people singing rather than just playing at them.
The show
Relaxed live music with a wide net: pub rock, pop, country, oldies and the crowd favourites that get people up. Every show gets shaped around who's in the room rather than run to a fixed plan. Good sound, plenty of energy, and a fair bit of singing along.
On the day
A performance area of at least 2m by 2m and a standard 240V power outlet. All the PA and sound equipment is supplied. Outdoor bookings need shelter. Access 60 minutes before the start time is needed for setup.
