Up to four 45 minute sets, in whichever genres you choose. Adelina performs around Brisbane as a solo singer, in a duo or trio, or with a full band, and the repertoire runs deep: Sam Cooke, Etta James and Otis Redding from the 60s, Chaka Khan, Bill Withers and ABBA from the 70s, and plenty since. A wedding can open with an acoustic soloist for the ceremony and canapes and close with a dance band carrying guests from dinner to the floor. Everything is self contained, with PA, instruments and sound all supplied; the only ask is access to power. Public liability, professional indemnity and personal accident insurance are all current.
The show
Up to four sets of 45 minutes each, and the genres are yours to pick. That's a fair chunk of a night's music, and because the repertoire gets chosen rather than handed to you, a jazz-leaning dinner and a soul-heavy dance floor can both come out of the same booking.
On the day
Power is the one thing the venue has to provide. Everything else arrives with the artist: the PA system, the instruments and the sound side of it, all self contained.
Performance options
Two wedding packages sit at either end of the day. Acoustic Lovers is a ceremony and canapes soloist: a singer and guitarist with portable professional sound in your location, background music ready as guests arrive, three song requests of your choosing, and two 30 minute canapes sets after the ceremony. The High Energy Reception Dance Band is a four piece with lead and backing vocals, drums, bass, guitar and piano, running up to four 45 minute sets to carry guests from dinner onto the floor, with professional sound and lighting, three song requests such as the bridal party entry, first dance and a father-daughter or exit song, compliance with the venue's sound restrictions, and flexibility around your reception schedule. Quotes are customised to the event. Travel fees apply beyond 100km from Brisbane.
