About
Lulu is a samba dancer for hire in Perth, WA.
Trained samba, danced properly. Lulu brings athletic hip and footwork, Latin percussion, and full costume with feathers, and the effect on a room is immediate. Perth based, and she works corporate events, festivals, weddings and kids' parties. A performance-only booking runs from 5 to 30 minutes. If your crowd is the kind that'll get up, she'll dance with them, which stretches it to an hour, and for a proper dance party it can go longer with short breaks between routines. She needs a hard, smooth floor at least 4m wide by 3m deep, so no grass or dirt, and around five days' notice.
Watch
The show
Fast hip and footwork, the kind that takes years of training to make look easy, over live Latin percussion. The costumes do a lot of the work too, feathers and all, and a room notices the moment she walks into it. Suits every age group, so you don't have to think about who's watching.
On the day
She needs a hard, smooth floor, at least 4 metres wide and 3 metres deep. Grass and dirt won't work, since the footwork depends on the surface. A good event grade speaker system at your end is preferred, so mention in your event details whether you can supply one and the quote comes back more accurate. Give around five days notice where you can.
Performance options
A choreographed Samba No Pe performance on its own runs 5 to 30 minutes and suits any audience. Add dancing with the crowd and it stretches to between 30 minutes and an hour, which is the one to pick if your guests are likely to get up. For a proper dance party, the extended version goes an hour to two. With more than two routines, expect short breaks between them, because it's hard physical work.
