About
Mila is a roller skating act for hire in Sunshine Coast, QLD.
Disco roller skating, roving through your crowd. Mila has spent five years as a roving roller skater, working across Melbourne at everything from arts festivals to corporate functions, video clips to album launches, and now takes bookings from the Sunshine Coast. The act moves through a space rather than holding a stage, so it works where a band wouldn't fit. Silk fans, rainbow ribbon and bubbles can all come along, and Mila can hand out flyers or gifts while skating if you want the roving to do a job as well as look good. One requirement worth checking early: the floor needs to be flat, reasonably clean and clear of obstacles.
The show
Roving on roller skates, moving through your guests instead of holding a spot. Mila can bring silk fans, rainbow ribbon and bubbles into the routine, and can carry flyers or gifts around to hand out while skating, so the roving does a job as well as looking good. What goes into it is shaped around your event rather than run to a standard routine.
On the day
It comes down to the floor. Skating needs a surface that is reasonably flat, clean and free of debris, without too many obstacles in the way, and Mila can work with most surfaces that meet that. Have a conversation about your space early, since the floor decides where in the venue the act can go.
