About
Dogsday is a rockabilly band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Slapped double bass, electric guitar and a standing drummer give Dogsday its rockabilly trio setup. The Melbourne band plays original songs and instrumentals with country, surf and roots influences. Its music brings those styles together in a small group sound, rather than relying on a larger rock band arrangement. Recordings and performances on the Melbourne pub circuit form part of the band's history, with the rhythmic bass and guitar central to the live show.
