About
Rose Carleo is a rock band for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Rose Carleo sings blues-rock with real force behind it, and she has the ARIA chart placings and awards to back the reputation. The band around her is serious as well: Mick Adkins on guitar, with Bill Kervin and Mick O'Shea holding the rhythm section. Led Zeppelin, Bad Company and Janis Joplin all run through the sound, though it lands with a modern edge rather than as period reproduction. Live is where this act makes its case. Big riffs, and a voice that can stand up to them.
