Rockscars is a rock band for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Melbourne musicians with plenty of stage time behind them, playing covers that aren't the same ones every other band does. Rockscars mix old and new, and rock a few things up along the way. Sixties through nineties material is the core, and they've worked private gigs, venues and weddings. They can run minimal production in a smaller room, and scale up when the space calls for it. The whole approach comes down to knowing what an audience actually wants to hear, which is a different skill to knowing a lot of songs.
The show
Four players, all Melbourne musicians with a lot of stage time behind them, working through rock covers chosen for what an audience actually responds to. Rockscars have played private gigs, licensed venues and weddings, so the set can sit in the background early and move up a gear later. The songs are the point rather than the production.
On the day
Enough room for four players, and undercover. The band can run a minimal production setup in a smaller space, scaling what they bring to suit the size of the venue, and larger production is available for rooms that need it. If the trip is a long one, meals and a place to stay would need to be sorted at your end.
