About
Oz/Az is a rock band for hire in Perth, WA.
This is Aussie rock, played raw and played straight. AC/DC, The Angels, Cold Chisel, Hunters & Collectors, Midnight Oil, Australian Crawl, Noiseworks, INXS, right through to Eskimo Joe. Khe Sanh, Eagle Rock, Beds Are Burning, Boys Light Up, Bow River, Holy Grail, Evie, Down Under, I Was Only 19. You'll know every song on the list, which is rather the point. Oz/Az are seasoned Perth players and they carry their own PA and lighting, though they're happy to use the venue's if that's easier. All they really want is a stage.
The show
Classic Aussie rock played by musicians who were around for it the first time. The set is drawn from songs a crowd of a certain age knows word for word, and the reaction it gets is usually a request for more. It's a proper live show rather than a nostalgia trip through a backing track.
On the day
A stage is the main thing. They carry their own PA and lighting, so nothing else is essential, though if your venue would rather run its own system that suits them fine. Say which way you want to go when you enquire.
