About
Cornerstone is a reggae band for hire in Perth, WA.
Reggae is the heart of it, but Cornerstone Band range well past that. African music, ska, jazz, R&B, hip hop, gospel and country all turn up in a set from this Perth group. They reckon you won't find their particular mix anywhere else in the country, and hearing it, that's a fair claim. The band brings its own instruments and just needs speakers and a mixing board at the venue.

The show
Reggae sits at the centre and everything else grows out from it. African music, ska, jazz, R and B, hip hop, gospel and country all find their way into a Cornerstone Band set, which is a wider spread than most bands attempt in one night. They reckon nobody else in the country puts that particular mix together, and listening to it, they've got a point. Perth based.
On the day
Instruments are theirs. What they need from the venue is speakers and a mixing board, which most rooms that host live music already have sitting there. If yours doesn't, that's the thing to sort out before the date, since a band this size can't play unamplified in a full room.
