About
Taylah Sings is a solo pianist and singer for hire in Gold Coast, QLD.
More than a thousand events across a decade, and it shows in how easily Taylah reads a room. Soulful vocals, keyboard and backings, with a repertoire that goes from easy listening through heartfelt love songs to whatever gets a dance floor going. Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone are the reference points people reach for, and the classical piano training underneath gives the ballads somewhere to sit. Ain't No Sunshine, Back To Black, All Of Me, Dreams, Dance Monkey, Valerie territory, and requests for wedding songs can be learned. Gold Coast based, solo or duo, and available for a ceremony, a cocktail hour or a full reception. Sound equipment is provided, including a powerless option for outdoor weddings. Insured.
Watch
The show
Taylah sings with real weight behind it, and the emotion in a song comes through rather than being performed at you. A decade of audiences has sharpened that. People reach for Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone as comparisons, though the classical piano training underneath gives the quieter songs somewhere solid to sit. The repertoire is broad and she connects across ages, which matters at a family event where the room spans seventy years. Gold Coast based, and she writes her own material too.
On the day
Sound equipment comes with her. There's also a powerless setup, which is the useful one if your ceremony is on a beach, a clifftop or a paddock with no outlet within a hundred metres.
Performance options
Book her solo or as a duo. Either works for a ceremony, a cocktail hour or a full reception, and one booking can cover more than one of those across the same day.
Insurance and paperwork
Public liability insured
