Shyla Jae

Shyla Jae sings and plays piano, writing her own songs and covering other people's. The sound is chill and mellow, which she says herself, and pop is the centre of it. There's bluesy, sadder material too, and some alternative leaning things. Human rights themes run through a lot of her writing, so if you're programming something for Pride Month or a feminist event, she's already got the songs for it.

She brings all her own equipment, so there's nothing on your list to organise on the gear front. Give her somewhere to set the keyboard up and the rest is her problem, not yours.
