About

South Street is a musical trio for hire in Sutherland, NSW.

Rock and pop covers, played by three people who've done enough gigs to know which song rescues a flagging dance floor. South Street Trio work out of Sutherland in Sydney's south and carry a list well past 250 songs, running from Toto and Don McLean through Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran. Need a smaller sound? They'll do it as a duo. Want the full weight of drums and bass behind it? Mention the four piece when you ask for a quote and that's what turns up. PA and lighting come with them, so the venue only needs to supply a couple of power points. They're insured.

The show

Rock and pop covers played by three people with a lot of gigs behind them, and a list running well past 250 songs. Toto, Don McLean, Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, and plenty in between. The useful bit is that they've done enough nights to know which song lifts a dance floor that's starting to thin out, and they'll reach for it rather than plough on through a fixed set. Expect a room that's singing along by the second set.

On the day

Full PA and lighting arrive with the trio. On your side, a couple of power points near where they'll be playing covers it. Worth a quick look at the room beforehand to confirm those outlets are actually where you want the band standing, since that's the detail that most often gets discovered on the day.

Performance options

The trio is the standard booking. If your event wants a full rock band behind it, they'll quote for a four piece with vocals, guitars, bass and drums, which adds the low end and the drive that a bigger room needs. Ask for the four piece by name when you send your enquiry, otherwise you'll get pricing for the trio.
