Eishan

Eishan is a Sydney trio playing eastern music with a contemporary western edge running underneath it. The core instrument is the Persian tar, sometimes swapped for the oud, and the group scales to suit the room. Solo tar or oud for something quiet. Tar with percussion as a duet. The trio adds guitar and clarinet, and the full band brings in saxophone, double bass and percussion for a fuller sound. Handy if you want the same musical world at a small dinner and at a large function without changing acts.
