Born in Auckland, raised in Brisbane, Yac is a singer, songwriter and guitarist whose ear leans towards pop, soul, r&b and rap. A guitar, a microphone and a loop pedal are the whole rig, and the loop is what makes it interesting. Current chart songs and older classics come out rebuilt rather than copied, layered up live so a solo set sounds fuller than one person should. No two performances land quite the same way.

Yacob was great. Incredibly self-sufficient in setting up and packing down. Great music and controlled the room with his music through the night.

I wasn't around for the whole time Yacob was there and only caught snippets but from all accounts, everything went really smoothly and Yacob sounded fantastic from what I heard! I did catch some of his performance just before the ceremony and he sounded great and he was there while we had some photos taken etc. which was lovely.
As far as I know, he was right on time. He did a really good job, sounded lovely and not overpowering and was a very nice addition to the atmosphere before the ceremony and reception, I would recommend him to others.
