About
Steve Byrne is a musical soloist for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Dublin born, and the Celtic, Irish folk and traditional Irish material is the real thing rather than an approximation. Steve Byrne performs self accompanied and also fronts his award winning Celtic band Tartan Shamrock. Brisbane based. Irish music works in a pub better than almost any other genre because the audience joins in, and a singer who grew up with the songs gets a room going in a way a learned repertoire never quite does.
