About
Shane Wolf - River City Sling - Triplescore is a musical soloist for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Three acts under one booking, all run out of Brisbane by Shane Wolf. Solo is live looping, building layers of guitar and harmony into a full sound from one person. River City Sling is an acoustic duo or trio, relaxed enough for a wedding ceremony or a small corporate lunch. Triplescore is the dance floor version, scaling from four pieces up to ten with brass and a DJ for festivals and big corporate nights. The song list runs Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, The Killers, Queen, Jet and Daft Punk. Production for up to 400 people can be supplied. Public liability insurance is held.

The show
Solo, Shane Wolf loops guitar and harmony live until one person sounds like several, and the layers build in front of you. River City Sling is the calm end of it. An acoustic duo or trio, right for a ceremony or a corporate lunch where the music sets a mood and stays under the conversation. Triplescore is the other extreme. Four pieces up to ten, current and classic dance floor material, aimed squarely at large corporate nights and festivals. Same booking, three very different evenings.
On the day
Production gets matched to the room size rather than the other way around. The preference is for Nexo, dB Technologies or L'Acoustics front of house with a Midas desk, and if your venue hasn't got that, Shane can supply a rig himself for audiences up to 400. That package runs L'Acoustics tops and a sub, a Midas mixer, RCF foldback wedges and Chauvet stage lighting. Worth flagging your room capacity early so the right system turns up.
Performance options
Start with the solo singer guitarist. From there it steps up through a duo adding keys, violin or drums, then a trio with keys or bass or a female vocalist plus drums. The four piece is singer guitarist, bass, keys and drums; the five piece adds a female singer. Eight pieces brings in a three piece brass section. And the ten piece, Triplescore Deluxe, has four horns, a female singer and a DJ alongside the rhythm section.
