Sandro is a musical soloist for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Sandro started on piano, moved to guitar, and then found the drums, which stayed his main instrument for years. He was singing and playing guitar in a church choir before that, and by seventeen he was gigging with music school bands and teaching drums himself. A move from Rome to Australia followed, first Sydney and the drum stool in several bands, then six years of busking every single day, with occasional shows at the Convention Centre and James Place Hotel in central Adelaide. His vocal timbre and accent are distinctive, and they suit a big folk and rock repertoire built around his own arrangements for voice and solo acoustic guitar. Mediterranean colour runs through the harmonies.
