About
Ronan Maclean is a musical soloist for hire in Brisbane, QLD.
Upbeat pop, played on an acoustic guitar, spanning the 50s to now. Ronan Maclean has been performing around Brisbane and the Gold Coast for over eight years, and the pitch is straightforward: a setlist broad enough that most people in the room will recognise something. If your event wants a different genre or a particular style, ask and he'll see what can be arranged. He runs a Bose L1 Pro 16 PA and can set up off a single power point, which makes small venues and awkward corners easy. Also works as a wedding singer and general soloist.
Watch
The show
Upbeat pop on acoustic guitar, drawn from the fifties right through to current releases. Ronan Maclean builds the set wide on purpose, so nearly everyone in the room hears something they know. Engaging rather than loud, which suits a room where people are also eating and talking.
On the day
He brings his own PA, a Bose L1 Pro 16, and can run the whole thing from a single power point. If your venue has particular requirements or its own system, mention it when you enquire and he will work to it.
