About
Julius Lutero is a musical soloist for hire in Perth, WA.
Live looping is the trick here. Julius Lutero records a guitar rhythm, a bass line and some percussion on the spot, then sings and plays lead over the top, so one person on stage ends up sounding like an acoustic band. The material is acoustic roots and blues: Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan on one side, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and Ed Sheeran on the other, with Powderfinger, Crowded House and Missy Higgins keeping it local. Perth born. Julius also works as a duo with bass or drums, and as an electric trio with Roy Martinez on bass and Elliot Jebb on drums. Bose PA and lighting come along. Just supply power.

The show
One person, and it sounds like a band. Julius Lutero lays down a guitar rhythm, a bass line and percussion live in front of you, then sings and plays lead over the top of it. The material is acoustic roots and blues, Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan at one end, John Mayer, Jack Johnson and Ed Sheeran at the other. A Bose PA comes with him and it sounds good. He'll also talk through your song preferences beforehand and work them in.
On the day
Power, and that's genuinely the whole list. The PA is a Bose system and the lighting comes with him too, so there's no hire to arrange. One working outlet within reach of where he sets up covers it.
Performance options
The solo acoustic looping set is the core booking, and you choose the length: one hour, two, three or four. Julius also works as a duo, adding either bass or drums, and as an electric trio with Roy Martinez on bass and Elliot Jebb on drums when you want the full band sound.
