About
Grace Gallagher is a musical soloist for hire in Melbourne, VIC.
Grace Gallagher picked up a guitar at eleven and has spent close to a decade on it since. Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Kings of Leon are the touchstones, and the approach is to take the oldies and give them back some youth. Dreams and Go Your Own Way sit next to Baby One More Time, Hey Ya and Shania Twain's Man, I Feel Like A Woman, with a Tom Petty or a Neil Young dropped in. Modern songs get a look in too when the night calls for it. She and her cherry Jaguar became a familiar sight around Brisbane venues, and that same energy has now moved to Melbourne. She brings a PA that covers a medium-sized room and needs a power point nearby.
Watch
The show
Grace turns up with a set built to keep people happy rather than to prove a point. Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles sit next to Britney and Outkast, and she'll drop in a Tom Petty or a Neil Young when the room feels right for it. She's spent close to a decade doing this. If you've got a venue rather than a private party, she'll put word out about the gig on her socials too.
On the day
She brings a PA that comfortably covers a medium sized room. All she asks for is a power point somewhere near where she's playing. That's genuinely the whole list.
