Chris Murphy became known nationally for his performance of Evie (Part 1) on Australian Idol in 2006. Since then he's built a career as a professional musician with 12 years behind him, three original album releases, national television appearances and a run of songwriting awards. He's played most venues in Perth and toured well north and south of the state, along with high profile gigs around the country. As a solo acoustic act he plays to whoever's in front of him, which is a useful thing in a performer when the crowd is a mixed one.

The event went well and Chris was really good and was well received. The weather proved a little difficult on the night as we are on the coast and the wind was very strong and it was surprisingly cool , but Chris was flexible enough to be able to move to a different location which got everybody out of the weather and ensured the dancefloor was full for his last set. Thanks again

Boys were great as always & everyone had a fab night . It was a small tight space for them but they overcame it to make it a personal & intimate venue. No hesitation to book them again in future

Chris was great – his set and song choice suited the event and he had some great banter with the crowd between songs, as well as very kindly acting as a “PA System” for us when we needed to get a message out to the crowd (someone had left their car’s headlights on, last coffee call etc.). So, very pleased with Chris

We had an awesome party and the entertainment provided by Chris was outstanding.My family and friends were all very impressed.His personality is very welcoming and friendly and was very professional, arriving on time and playing to the crowd. Happy to recommend Chris...a true gentleman.
