Bob Brown has been playing for over 30 years, and his ground is live music from the 1950s through the 1970s. He works as a one man band out of Sydney, self sufficient, needing very little floor space, and still producing a full backing sound to dance to. The material shifts with the booking. Quiet bossa nova, Latin and ballads for background work, then rock and roll and dance sets built on Neil Diamond, Elvis, ABBA and disco. He also covers Shadows instrumentals, country from Hank Williams to Billy Ray Cyrus, jazz standards in the Nat King Cole and Sinatra line, and ballroom material including waltzes, quicksteps and foxtrots. Weddings, cocktail parties and any special occasion.

My dad thoroughly enjoyed having Bob serenade us on Sunday. He sang Golden Oldies, just like I had asked and was extremely easy-going. I loved that he arrived extra early to set up to avoid any rush. We were more than happy to have Bob as an extra ‘family member’ for the day. I hope Bob enjoyed his time here also. If we entertain the idea of having a live musician for my father ever again, we would certainly not hesitate to book him again, nor recommend to him others. Thank you again and take care.

Bob was excellent
It was a fabulous selection, finalising with Paul Anka’s Diana – one of her favourites. She thoroughly enjoyed it, as did we all.

My wife and I had a great function yesterday and Bob fitted our needs like a glove. Everybody enjoyed the afternoon and Bob played all the music that we all grew up with. He was excellent.
Thank you again for all your help and a lot of our friends are getting to our stage in life so you may be getting more requests in the not too distant future.

Very happy with Bob, he arrived in plenty of time to set up and be ready for the influx of club members. He sang a variety of songs and was well received by his audience. He had quite a lot of elderly up dancing which is a first at our annual Xmas party. I would measure his performance at 10 out of 10.
I asked him if he could do a repeat performance at our Xmas party next year to be held at the same venue at the same time on Monday 18TH December, 2017.
