About
Andrew Healey is a musical soloist for hire in Adelaide, SA.
Twenty years in, more than 2,500 shows played, and a repertoire north of 1,800 songs. Andrew Healey has made a career of turning up prepared. The Adelaide musician plays weddings, parties and corporate events Australia-wide, in formats that scale from unplugged acoustic and one-man-band solo shows to duos and full bands featuring some of the country's best players. The song list runs from The Beatles to Bruno Mars, Aretha Franklin to AC/DC, Frank Sinatra to Foo Fighters, and requests are encouraged. He brings quality sound and lighting, a wireless microphone for your speeches and recorded music between sets, with battery-powered gear for remote locations. Bookings stretch from a short ceremony set to a full day, and he holds public liability cover.
Watch
The show
Two decades of gigs and more than 2,500 shows behind him means very little on the night surprises Andrew Healey. Big rooms, small rooms, weddings, work parties, he's done the lot. Which is really what you're paying for: someone you can hand the music to and then stop thinking about it. Nobody wants entertainment to be the thing they're worrying about at their own party.
On the day
Sound and lighting come with him, and he keeps the gear current rather than running whatever he bought a decade ago. There are battery powered options too, so a paddock or a beach with no power nearby is still workable. Almost anywhere he can reach, he can set up.
Performance options
Wedding bookings run in three lengths: a ceremony package of up to two hours, a reception package of up to five, and a full day of up to eight. Private parties come as two, three or four 45 minute sets. Corporate work is quoted per event, since size and logistics change everything. Every booking includes the sound system and lighting kit, DJ style recorded music covering breaks and gaps, and a wireless microphone for your MC and speeches. Travel and accommodation may be added depending on where you are.
