About
The Chace Duo is a musical duo for hire in Blacksmiths, NSW.
An acoustic duo out of Lake Macquarie with a set list that refuses to sit still. The Chace Duo will go from Zombie to Teenage Dirtbag to Nothing Else Matters, then swing through Jolene, Valerie, Wicked Game and Never Tear Us Apart, all reworked into their own shape. Some original songs get a run too. Tame Impala, System of a Down, Lenny Kravitz and Soft Cell are all on the list, which is a fair spread for two people. They bring the mixer, speakers, foldbacks and lighting. Just point them at a power point.
On the day
The gear is all theirs. Mixer, speakers, foldback wedges so they can hear themselves properly, and lighting to go with it. That means the venue is not being asked to hunt down a sound system or borrow one from the function room next door. One working power outlet near where they will stand is the whole ask. If the spot you have in mind is outdoors or a fair distance from the nearest socket, flag it when you enquire so they can bring enough cable.
