About
Pozzative is a musical duo for hire in Shepparton, VIC.
John and Ron both sing and both play guitar, which is more useful than it sounds. It means the harmonies are real and either of them can carry a lead. Between them there's more than 20 years in the music industry, and the set leans on the 70s, 80s and 90s with a bit of old rock and roll pushed in: Eagle Rock, Burning Love, Khe Sanh, Mustang Sally, How to Make Gravy, Come On Eileen territory. Backing tracks fill out the sound. They're a Shepparton act built for pubs, clubs and private functions, and they run it properly. Expect a call before the day to check details, and an early arrival to set up and sound check while the room is still empty.
The show
You'll hear from them before the day. They ring to confirm the details rather than assuming the booking form covered everything, which saves the awkward conversation at 6pm about where the power point is. On the day they like to arrive early, get the gear in and run a sound check while the room is still quiet.
On the day
Setup time before guests arrive, usually about an hour, which covers getting the gear in, sorting the sound and putting the lighting where it needs to go. Build that hour into your timings rather than leaving it to chance.
