About
Phonic is a musical duo for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Sal sings and Karl plays guitar, and between them Phonic cover a lot of ground. Her voice has been on Sunrise and on mainstream radio, and the material leans towards Adele, Amy Winehouse and Florence Welch. Karl's side of it is range: he moves between guitar styles rather than settling into one. That flexibility is what makes the duo work for a wedding, a corporate function or a cocktail party, where the music has to shift from background to foreground and back again over a few hours.
