About
Mckenzie And Jon is a musical duo for hire in Sydney, NSW.
Mckenzie sings, Jon plays guitar, and the combination is what makes this duo interesting: soulful vocals sitting on top of intricate rhythmic guitar. Their material comes from hip hop, rap, R&B, pop and rock, rearranged into something acoustic without losing the groove that made those songs work in the first place. It's familiar music arriving in an unfamiliar shape, and it tends to land with older and younger guests equally. The two met, started playing together, and have been a partnership since.
